PrincipalJohn graduated with honors from the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire receiving a Bachelor of Business Administration degree, majoring in Finance. His career began in the banking industry with his work ethic, integrity and client commitment leading to increased responsibilities during his twenty years. John’s last banking position was with a local regional bank overseeing eight lending officers and a commercial loan portfolio of $300 million. Since leaving banking in 2007, he has pursued a career in commercial real estate brokerage.
This background, combined with a passion for real estate, led to the formation of J. Ross & Associates. His unique skill set has allowed him to assist countless clients and customers meet their commercial real estate needs.
John is an active member of the community serving on several non-profit boards and is a current member of the Realtors Association. His personal time is spent with family, pursuing outdoor hobbies and playing hockey.
Charlie Dercks

Charlie Dercks
PrincipalCharlie graduated from the University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point with degrees in Economics and Social Science focusing on Finance and Chemistry. Before starting at J. Ross & Associates, Charlie served as a commercial real estate broker in the Chicagoland area and northeast Wisconsin where he was involved in the leasing and sale of office, retail, and industrial space, with a focus on investment properties. Since then his primary focus has been in sourcing acquisitions, underwriting, due diligence management and arranging financing on investments. His expertise includes asset and portfolio management as well as construction project management.
Charlie also enjoys hunting and fishing in his free time, and is an avid Marquette Basketball and Green Bay Packers fan.
Jason Gallmeier

Director of BrokerageJason graduated from St. Norbert College in De Pere, WI with degrees in communication and business. After college, he spent a few years in sales with a paper converting company successfully growing a national accounts territory. Jason’s entrepreneurial spirit and love of the sales process landed him in a Commercial Real Estate career in early 2001 specializing in sales and leasing throughout Northeast WI.
He joins J. Ross & Associates with 18 years of commercial real estate experience, having gained a comprehensive knowledge of the commercial market working with regional and national clients throughout Northeast WI. Jason enjoys working with each and every unique client, developing lasting relationships by diligently listening to their needs, delivering solutions, and efficiently getting to closing.
Jason is a lifelong native of the Fox Valley and enjoys spending time with his wife and kids boating, hunting, fishing and playing just about any sport with his boys!
Kim Johnson

Senior Real Estate AdvisorKim is a graduate of the University of Wisconsin Milwaukee, with a degree in marketing and finance. He spent his early years working in the family real estate and construction business in Manitowoc.
He signed on with Knutson Mortgage, as Regional Manager, moving from Manitowoc to the Fox Valley in 1983. Subsequently, he joined Bank One, and was promoted to Vice President of Mortgage Lending, for Wisconsin, with Banc One Mortgage. Kim was the charter Vice President for the Northeast Mortgage Bankers Association and was elected President of the Valley Home Builders Association.
Following his banking career, Kim decided to pursue his dream job of builder/developer in the Fox Valley. Kim and his family developed several area subdivisions, as well as owned and operated various commercial buildings.
Kim also spent seven years as an Account Executive in the manufacturing industry, traveling the country working with Fortune 500 companies.
Family is his #1 passion, golf is #2.
Kim’s background is very diverse, which serves him well in dealing with clients. Whether it be leasing, buying, selling, or building a new home for their businesses, Kim can give you the attention and expertise you need.
Scott Muggenthaler

Director of Property ManagementScott has been a commercial realtor in the Fox Valley since 2012. Prior to that he was a stock trader specializing in the NASDAQ markets.
From 1973 to 2002 he worked his way up in a locally owned NAPA Auto Parts chain of stores to president and owner. During his time in business he belonged to countless organizations and served on many regional and national advisory committees most of which were with Genuine Parts Company, a Fortune 500 Company.
His business background coupled with his ownership in commercial property and commercial sales/lease experience makes him a qualified member of your team.
Scott’s personal time is spent with family, also playing golf and other outdoor activities.

Real Estate Advisor / Real Estate ValuationsMatt attended the University of Wisconsin Oshkosh and graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with a degree in Marketing and emphasis on Real Estate. In addition to being a part of the team at J.Ross & Associates, Matt owns Fox Cities Appraisal Company with his sister and appraises commercial properties. He continues to be actively involved in the day to day operations of Fox Cities Appraisal Company.
Experience as an appraiser gives him a wide range of knowledge of the local real estate market which will benefit our clients, whether it’s buying and selling real estate or determining an opinion of value.
Matt lives in Little Chute with his wife Emily, daughter Caroline and son Louie. In his free time Matt enjoys hunting, fishing, being outdoors, watching sports and spending time with family.

Prior to joining J.Ross & Associates, Craig spent the first 15 years of his career in the Information Technology industry. He splits his time between the Management and Brokerage sides of the company.
Craig lives in Little Chute and spends his free time golfing, woodworking, and following Wisconsin sports.

Real Estate AdvisorTrey graduated from Illinois Wesleyan University with a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration and a focus on marketing. Upon graduating, he worked at General Electric Capital prior to starting a 40+ year career in the insurance industry. Trey began his career on the corporate side developing his risk analysis, underwriting, marketing and management skills. He then transitioned to the sales side becoming a vice president and part owner of an agency.
Trey is enthusiastic about working in the commercial real estate industry. His past business experience combined with his relationship building abilities and customer focus make him the perfect professional to partner with. He is also highly engaged in his community having served on many boards and committees.
When not chasing their 2 grandchildren Clara and George V around, he and his wife Kristie stay active playing tennis, boating, landscaping and traveling.

Real Estate AdvisorMaddy is a graduate of Marquette University in Milwaukee, WI. After college, she became a top sales producer for the largest liquor distributor in Wisconsin. She later transitioned into Commercial Real Estate in Milwaukee, where she specialized in site selection for national retail tenants. Upon returning to the Fox Cities, she joined J. Ross & Associates as a Real Estate Advisor. Maddy now represents industrial, retail, office, and vacant land property owners and tenants.

Property ManagerAmy was born and raised in the Fox Cities area, beginning her career in real estate in 2015 after moving to the Island of Kauai in 2012. Prior to joining J. Ross & Associates, Amy obtained her Hawaii Real Estate Broker’s license and was a Real Estate Property Manager for two National firms where she obtained hands on experience in commercial and residential real estate management. Her experience includes asset/property management, financial preparation and analysis, business management, customer service and office management/administration.
Amy enjoys gardening & spending time outdoors. She is also well versed in various computer software programs such as AppFolio, Microsoft Office, and QuickBooks.

Director of AccountingRobin joined the J. Ross & Associates group early in December 2019. She graduated with a degree in accounting from Gustavus Adolphus College in St. Peter, MN. After working for several years in Minnesota she moved to Arizona to assist a real estate development company convert their accounting software. This eventually led to her next career with Arizona’s largest home builder. She spent 18 years in AZ before moving to Appleton. She has continued to work in the real estate industry ever since.
Robin enjoys keeping busy with family and friends. Traveling, working out, puzzles and pickleball are some of her favorite activities.
Judy Parker

Administrative ServicesJudy began her career with J. Ross & Associates in 2015. She serves as an Administrative Assistant whose multi-tasking duties include customer service, accounting, marketing and property management support. Judy is the “go-to” person in the office.
Prior to joining J. Ross & Associates, Judy enjoyed working in the real estate appraisal industry for over 20 years, both in the administrative capacity and research. Judy has performed as a public speaker, book publisher and has assisted with elderly home caregiving.
Judy lives in the Hilbert area with her husband and enjoys traveling in and out of Wisconsin and enjoys long walks. She is active in her church, and has enjoyed a number of volunteer activities over the years.
